  1. Had a really lovely week. My stay was very relaxing and enjoyable in a beautiful setting. The room was very comfortable and the food was excellent.

  2. A truly amazing location & quality B&B. Well worth the money. The drive up to the property is via country lane, is it like looking at picture postcards all the way round. The welcome by the hosts Eddie & Terrie were very welcoming & could not do enough to ensure our stay was truly memorable. The rooms are decorated to a great standard & have fantastic views. The location is ideal base to see the countryside, by car, bike or by walking. Lovely places of interest, Wine & cheese routes to help you sample the local delicacies. Sitting by the swimming pool with a glass of house red, taking in the views, the only noise is the bird song & far way tinkle of the cow bells. The breakfast is great & certainly sets you up for the day. I would recommend the 3 course evening meal, fantastic value & great quality. The house wines are also very enjoyable. My wife & I really enjoyed our visit & will be booking another visit, there is to much to see & not enough time to do it all, I would have expected that the room rate would be higher, with such to the level of décor & the breakfast served. well recommended.

  3. Jean and Keith

First holiday in France. Very lucky in finding this lovely B&B. Hosts were very welcoming . They coundn’t do enough for us. The room was fresh and nicely decorated with en-suite. Full English breakfast to set us up for the day. Went on one of the walks recommended. View was amazing. Will definitely go back again.

  4. My first time visiting Barcus, Callari Park are just along a wine route so they had a good few local region wines, and more from the bordering areas, in stock :). The food, room, service, view, and the pool created a lovely getaway in scenic south France. As a young student, I found the neighboring towns Oloron and Pau, fun to explore. For those that enjoy long country walks, Eddie can be a walking guide as you hike, or stroll through the countryside, while Terrie cooks lovely home made dishes. The Hosts have created a stunning and homely environment, for you to be able to relax. (And provides a good resting point on the way to Barcelona.)

  5. A Gem
We’ve stayed there a couple of times on our drive down to Spain. It’s a lovely home from home in a stunning part of France. We received a truly warm reception from the British owners, the rooms are bright and clean and the breakfasts are full on. If you are in the area we would highly recommend it.

  6. An english Oasis
My husband and I decided to take a slow drive through France, stopping at Callari Park for a week in the middle of the trip. After spending a week having cold croissants for breakfast it was like landing on an English oasis in the middle of France. We still had the beautiful scenery – the Pyrenees are beautiful and the view from the terrace at Callari Park is stunning – but our warm and welcoming hosts offered a full English breakfast. Heaven! They also provided excellent evening meals and were very helpful with directions and tourist destinations. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the mountains and was clean and large, including a desk and chairs and ensuite bathroom. We also had access to wifi – that actually worked – unlike some much larger hotels we stayed in! If you are considering visiting the south of France we can heartily recommend Callari Park.

  7. Lovely B&B
Fantastic b&b, ran by friendly, hospitable couple. Clean and comfortable rooms, stunning poolside views and good food. We stayed at Callari Park for a week to do some cycling (there’s secure storage and some handy tools/accessories) and sightseeing around the Pyrenees. If you’re looking to stay within the area you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be returning in the future

  14. Keith & Margaret

We have read all of the comments and all we can say is that we agree with everything that has been said. It is a gem of a place – wonderful hosts, food, scenery etc. We only hope that when we return to Barcus Eddie and Terrie will have room for us. We think that booking well in advance will be necessary.

  15. We stayed here for a week during August and had a fantastic time. Eddie and Terrie are fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay special. The views from the property are amazing and the rooms are very comfortable and finished to a very high standard. We wouldn’t hesitate to return if we were ever in the area again.

Just by chance I found this place and it’s been a great discovery. An oasis of peace and silence with breathtaking views.
As for the owners I have no words to describe them: gentle, wellcoming and tender. With the food another surprise: large amount, variety and delicious. To repeat
